2 年One has to wonder - If Somaliland is still part of Somalia, why isn’t the Mogadishu Government helping it? With the billions paid by the International Community, shouldn’t some of it be allocated to aid a humanitarian catastrophe like the Hargeisa fire? And if not; doesn’t that send a very clear message that even Mogadishu doesn’t believe it’s own rhetoric and it (along with its IC, EU, AU donors), should admit the reality and recognise Somaliland as a legitimate Independent Country? It’s one of the other, not whatever suits them at the time, with constantly moving goalposts. Either support it in line with all the rhetoric espoused about “one Somalia” or step away and let Somaliland be the independent country it actually is.
