Africa.
A land which beauty, character, colors and shapes amazed and inspired the designer Marco Bicego in the creation of his spring collection.
The personality of this extraordinary continent is clearly translated into Africa Gemstone collection pieces: a land with a spirit full of contrasts and uncontaminated corners, with so much to be discovered and wondered.
Full color! That's the main feature of Africa Gemstone collection: an explosion of colors. Yellow gold 18 carat, worked with the ancient burin technique, is now interspersed with precious colored gemstones such as aquamarine, turquoise, lapis lazuli, iolite, citrine, but also coral and pearls. A variant that made the collection less "serious", more warm and equally elegant. This creates refined and versatile jewels to perfect and enhance every look and give it that warm and storytelling touch, typical of the African aura.
The gems are selected for their intensity of color and purity whilst enhanced by a multi-faceted cut that pushes their natural shine. It reminds me of the colours of the African sunsets, along with the warm light that's typical of the golden hour. Marco Bicego translated a dreamy, sublime, unforgettable African dream into his pieces.
Chains and boules are either layered at various lengths or alone, thin and modest or big and bold, hidden in the hair or well exposed to illuminate the bare skin.
Marco Bicego, with the proposals of the collection, reconfirms the knowledge and the traditional skills of the master goldsmiths of Vicenza, by creating iconic handmanufactured jewels, which are capable of giving a fresh and young allure to the wearer.
