I am thrilled and proud to be selected as a speaker at the Africa Cyber Defense Forum Conference and present an interesting and educating session related to correctly defining and deploying ICS-OT related cyber defense.
We all know that IT operations are protecting Money and Privacy through the Confidentiality-Integrity and Availability (CIA) Triad. In contrary to that Industrial Operations are protecting Lives of People, Machinery and business continuity through the Safety-Reliability and Productivity (SRP) Triad.

3 年Dear ICS Cyber Security experts, thank you for your comments in private messages. No mistake in the title and I'll explain all in the presentation: 1) Organizations operating SOC facilities must converge the information form all sources, IT, OT, CERT, news, etc. 2) IT and OT teams must collaborate and assist each other in order creating a cyber safe environment complying with CIA and SRP 3) In order to achieve high productid and effective maintenance operations that data must be available everywhere 4) BUT (!!), IT and ICS networks are separate entities.
