PRESS RELEASE:

AfriBlocks, a pan-African freelance tech and design talent marketplace, is excited to announce its co-hosting of the 6th Annual Black Blockchain Summit (BBS). The event is scheduled to take place from September 21-23, 2023, at the esteemed Howard University campus in Washington, DC. This year's summit will follow its signature model of a hybrid, virtual, and in-person format.

Tickets for the conference are now available for purchase through the official BBS website. Interested parties can also find comprehensive information about sponsorship opportunities and featured speakers. The overarching theme for the 2023 summit is "Peaceful solutions to violent world problems."

The Black Blockchain Summit stands as a prominent gathering for the global Black community, focusing on cutting-edge technologies and their impact. The summit was originally founded by members of the Howard University community, who collaborated with African crypto enthusiasts to establish a platform that utilizes blockchain technology to address challenges faced by the Black community. AfriBlocks, along with Bithub Africa, a Kenyan-based tech incubator, are among the organizations that have partnered with BBS.

Since its inception in 2018, the summit has experienced remarkable growth, attracting tech enthusiasts from around the world. Thousands of participants and industry leaders convene at this annual event to exchange resources and stay abreast of the latest advancements in Blockchain technology and cryptocurrency.
