Be afraid, be very afraid!

What a thoroughly eye-opening presentation by Dan Chappelow of West Midlands Police Economic Crime Unit on protecting your business against Cybercrime attacks last night.  Dan treated us to some very scary statistics as well as some great advice on upping our cyber security, not only within our businesses but in our general every-day lives.  He strongly advised delegates to sign up to the Government's Cyber Essential Scheme which provides 10 steps to making your business as safe as it can be from a cyber security perspective and has a 'kite' make type of facility which can enhance your business' reputation with customers and suppliers.  Check it out at: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/cyber-essentials-scheme-overview
