Leadership, stress, resilience and performance in elite sporting clubs and corporations have in common the limitations of athletes and personnel when they are pressured beyond their endurance. Given the time of year with football finals coming to a crescendo, I thought it may be worthwhile revisiting a documentary produced by Richelle Hunt of ABC Grandstand and 774 ABC Melbourne, involving interviews with David Parkin, Paul Roos and myself. While the documentary looks at clinical aspects of footballer post traumatic stress it also embraces issues of leadership, coaching, organizational culture and community.
