It's not always about projecting our military strength.?What America is great at is projecting a sense of hope and humanity underneath our mantra of freedom.?Today, in this moment, under these circumstances, we have to not only project all those elements simultaneously but apply them with the full force of the American dream.??

Do you still remember their names??Kayla Mueller: beautiful young American aid worker whose name was used for the operation that killed ISIS leader Al-Baghdadi, who would rape her to celebrate victories by his ISIS army. Daniel Pearl:?Beheaded in Pakistan. ?James Foley:?Journalist who went to tell the story of the inhumanity that was going on in Syria and who was ceremonially beheaded by the ISIS executioner known as Jihadi John.?Just a few American names, by no means all.?They were all good people serving a righteous cause. They were all murdered by radical Islamic terrorists.?If you can’t remember any of these names, listen to your media feed on September 11th when the names of those murdered on 9/11 will be read aloud while the bell tolls at ground zero.?Unless our politicians act now, the bell will toll for thousands more innocents in Afghanistan.?Our countrymen and our Afghan allies will be hunted and executed.?For those of us here in the United States, know this… the terrorists have patiently been waiting for 20 years and have emerged from the shadows with evil intentions. Our country is 245 years old, their country is thousands of years old.?Unlike us, they measure time in centuries not decades.?The Islamic fundamentalist will begin pouring into their new caliphate in Afghanistan.?They are full of hatred for our way of life. They are now emboldened, better equipped, better organized and they intend to end the dream of America.
