Afecor - The European Control Manufacturers' Association

The members of Afecor met for this year's spring meeting in Vilvoorde, Belgium. With over 60 years, Afecor is one of the oldest European associations in Brussels and represents the interests of European control manufacturers in Europe. Two days of meetings were devoted to the main topics of European regulation and international standardization. The General Assembly elected the Executive Board. Klaus W. Jesse was elected President and Sabine Pintaske was elected Vice President. Ettore Rossi will take over the duties of Technical Director, with Stephan Mock also the position of the Treasures has been reassigned. Klaus Jesse thanked his predecessor for his dedicated work over the past few years, which had also introduced new members to Afecor. Huba Control AG, CH, was welcomed as a new member. Afecor therefore considers itself well equipped to actively represent the interests of its members in the coming years. Cooperation with the regulatory organizations CEN, CENELEC and ISO, the Commission and the industry associations in Europe will continue to be the focus of activities.

We would like to thank the Honeywell Maxon team for their hospitality over the past years. The team led by Bart Geyskens gave Afecor a warm welcome and actively supported it again this year.
