Celebrating AET’s 30th Anniversary with our industry partners
It was an incredible evening at our Stakeholder Appreciation Reception and Dinner in Singapore, catching up and reconnecting with industry colleagues amidst the captivating lion and dragon dances signifying prosperity and good fortune for all in the auspicious year of the Dragon! We were thrilled to have our esteemed stakeholders from the maritime community across Singapore, Southeast Asia, and even further afield to celebrate AET’s 30 years of innovation, partnerships and growth.
In his opening remarks, AET President & CEO Zahid Osman expressed sincere gratitude to our industry partners for their unwavering trust and collaborative spirit to enable AET to play a vital role in the maritime industry today and in the future.

AET celebrates the naming of Singapore-flagged LNG dual-fuel VLCC, Eagle Veracruz
We celebrated a new milestone with the inaugural naming in Singapore of our latest Singapore-flagged LNG dual-fuel VLCC, Eagle Veracruz.
The 300,000 dwt eco-efficient Eagle Veracruz was named at the PSA Keppel Terminal by Singapore’s Minister for Sustainability and the Environment Grace Fu, who is also the Lady Sponsor of the vessel.
Making the announcement, Zahid Osman, our President & CEO said: “AET’s latest LNG dual-fuel VLCC, Eagle Veracruz, contributes to the MISC Group’s efforts in shaping a greener maritime ecosystem and the transition to cleaner solutions. This signifies a monumental leap forward in our fleet rejuvenation supporting a sustainable, low-carbon future. Coupled with our ongoing development of zero-emission vessels and collaborations with partners globally, we are translating ambitions into actions by reducing emissions while delivering more energy to decarbonize. These initiatives form the building blocks of the MISC Group’s decarbonization agenda and net-zero target by 2050.”

Building connections and shaping a brighter future
We believe that volunteering is not just about giving back. It’s about building connections and shaping a brighter future.
Our leaders traded suits for sneakers for the primary school students at Sekolah Kebangsaan Sedili Kecil in Johor, Malaysia, interacting, engaging, and cheering on our future generation. We also teamed up with the students in the ‘Wheel to Dream’ bike-building challenge, where we transformed loose pieces into dream machines – bicycles – given to needy students to commute to school. It was touching to see their faces light up when we surprised them with the sponsorship of new sports equipment and stationeries. We hope these tools will fuel their active spirit and bring even more joy to their school days.
In Singapore, over 20 colleagues volunteered in an AET-sponsored refurbishment project to enhance the facilities at Singapore Children’s Society’s Sunbeam Place. This is a residential home and gazette place of safety for up to 60 children and youths aged 2-21 who need protection or proper care. It was especially meaningful for our colleagues who helped to paint, pack, clean and replace furniture. We even had the opportunity to spend quality time with the children and staff over a movie treat.
Moving forward, we will strive to continue positively impacting the communities we operate in.
