AESTHETIC RENAISSANCE
To what extent is this very difficult and simple question of eesha and mahasha tattva which more or less deals with the very existence of shiva and shive /kamashwara and kamashwari tattva?as the core existence what is told is Lalitha Sahasranamam as a whole. If you see there is minor difference of aakara and eekara?aspect in words. However if one see this, it is in itself a major difference that will make the human kind to have that think tank thought process deep within. This further leading to the point of swa+atma+ananda (swatmananda)/pratyaksha+iti+roopa(prathyachithiroopa). However this further leads to kundalini jagrithi and the iti(horizon of the thoughts deep within). Thus further getting to the stage of kameshwari prananadi(composing of pancha bhootas/panchakoshas/pancha gnana indriyas/pancha karma indriyas/pancha dharmas/pancha kruthya /pancha tattva). Whatever we see or hear in this universe is a by-product or derivative of Absolute Brahman Paramathma. The combination of three elements known as Prana, Jeeva and Sthoola (Cosmic Energy, Life Energy & Matter/Mass). According to this Chapter, Vasinyaadhi Devis’?explains that all Sthoola elements will become inactive if the activation energy does not reside in it, that includes even Primary Brahmas viz: Brahma, Vishnu, Rudra, Maheswara & Sadasiva. After understanding these concepts, the seeker identifies himself/herself with the truth that Seeker, Seen & Sought (Gnaana, Gnaathru & Gneyam) and one the same. This is called Realization or Salvation or Moksham. One needs to really understand the pancha brahma swaroopam. However here is where one gets to understand the word called prapancha(pra+pancha). This is again the beauty of lalitha sahasranama.
Ideology behind writing this article or posting this article:
Today the science of conscious and sub-conscious state of mind is being defined in super ficial way. However the modern day scientists / doctors/psychologists /psychiatrists/yoga practitioners/meditational practitioners are forgetting of the fact that, there is lot of process involved meaning, the understanding of the very existence of gods and goddess. Who is this she or god, is it in the form or formless. The fact is that it is existing in both the forms. The point is that natya shastra as a text if we see is existing in the form existence, this further ?leading to the point of understanding of the formless. However today the dance teachers /gurus in various respective domains are not getting the exact point or rather the exact meaning in depth. So I thought let me explain the very meaning of pancha / shodashi in exact terminology. One needs to really get to the depth of subject from the objective front in order to understand the pancha. This we see in lalitha sahasranamam often coming. This is the beauty of the very text of lalitha sahasranamam. However as I say and always say nada vidya was the first text which was established for the understanding of the common man. However as the centuries passed by, and the civilizations started to exist with the colonization, it was becoming difficult for the common man to understand, thus nata vidya text came which unfortunately does not exist. However the natya shastra?the final text which had all the conceded material in crisp and short in simple language thus got published. However so called vashini and vagdevatas whom we are referring to are none other than rushis and munis who published the text of lalitha sahasranama are rushis and munis. Likewise Bharatha is none other than rushi or muni who after consulting and verifying various texts and scriptures published this book natya shastra. However here the base level text or scripture for natya shastra is lalith sahasranamam.
Now as I stated about the who is this she or goddess?, it is none other than upasaka or the individual himself or herself as a single entity. This is not as easy as it is told. Yet again it can be understood only after the penance or years of practice. It could be yoga/meditation/classical dance /classical music. However one needs to get to that enthusiasm or get that thought instilled in the minds.
Panchapretasana seena panchabrahma swaroopini
She is sitting on a throne held by five corpses. These five corpses are Brahma, Vishnu, Rudra, Mahadeva and Sadashiva. Brahma looks after creation, Vishnu looks after sustenance, Rudra is the destroyer (causing death), Mahadeva holds the dissolved universe (thirodhanam) and Sadashiva again re-creates the universe (aungraham). It is said that these five cannot function without their Shakthis or consorts. So Great is the unifying principle of Shakthi?.
'?Pancha Bhoothesi?' " She Who Is The Chief Of Pancha Bhoothas Viz Earth, Sky, Fire, Air. And Water?
'?Pancha Krithya Parayana?'" She Who Is Engaged In The Five Duties Of Creation, Existence, Dissolving, Disappearing, And Blessing "
'?Pancha Kosandara Sthitha?" She Who Is In Between The Five Holy Parts "
'?Pancha Prethasana Seena?" She Who Sits On The Seat Of Five Dead Bodies ( These Are Brahma , Vishnu, Rudra, Eesa And Sadasiva Without Their Shakthi(Consort)) ".
'?Pancha Sankhyopacharini?“ She Who Is To Be Worshipped By Five Methods Of Gandha(Sandal Wood), Pushpa(Flower), Dhoopa(Incense), Dheepa(Light), Naivedya(Offering) ".
'?Pancha Than Mathra Sayaka?“ She Who Has Five Bows Of Touch , Smell, Hearing, Taste And Sight ".
'?Pancha Vakthra?'” She Who Has Five Faces ".
'?Pancha Brahmasana Sthitha?'”?She Who Sits On The Five Brahmas Viz., Brahma, Vishnu, Rudra, Esana And Sadashiva ".
Shakthi is also represented as seven mathrikas or mother goddess emcompassing all the gods.
Who are :
Brahmi : From the power of brahma
Maheshwari : from the power of shiva
Kaumari- from the power of Karthikeya
vaishnavi : from the power of Vishnu
Varahai :from the power of varahaswamy
?Indrani :from the power of indra
Chamunda :from the power of chamundeshwari If the so called shakthi symbolises energy form without which no activity is possible in the universe. And It is scientifically rationale. Then Why not we unite all the religion under one umbrella that is shakthi god.
Panchapretasana includes?Brahma, Vishnu, ishwara, Rudra and Sadāshiva.
It does mean she retains 5 Pretas as Her asana. This alone shows she is Parabrahma swaroopini.
These 5 brahmas are task managers of creation, sustenance, dissolution, tirodhāna and anugraha . These are Expansion of Parabrahma manifesting itself Into many For the sake of creation aka performing taste in Sristi to balance it. ( now the pretas lost the life force)
As all these merges into Her and becomes one at end.
·?????????the Parabrahma (referred to Lalithamba here) onces think of sristi.
·????????Again it expand /manifest to forms As same Panchabrahmas. Now for the sake of sristi and several task of balancing them they get life force .
·????????Pancha-brahmasana-stita / Panchabrhmasanasthitha
·????????Panchabrahmanam : panchabhibrahmanbhih nirmitam asanam tatra sthita
She is seated on a throne made up of five brahmans. The five brahmans are Brahma / Vishnu /Rudra /ishana(mahadeva)/Sadashiva.
The other interpretation of this panchabrahmam is as follows :
We have five chakras in our body (muladhara to vishudi) and each of these chakras represent one element. Muladhara – earth element, Swadishtan – water element, manipuraka – fire element (some are of the opinion that swadishtan is fire element and manipuraka is water), anahat – air element and vishudi – akash or ether element. Lalitha is sitting on these five elements, each element forming four legs of her throne and one forming the seat. This seems to appropriate as She is the creator and creation is made out of the five basic elements only. After crossing these chakras, we have to proceed to ajna chakra where our mind is controlled and proceed to the crown chakra where the union of Shiva and shakthi takes place.
Each form represents different acts. “Brahma, Vishnu, Rudra, Ishwara form the support of your throne and Sadashiva is the seat of your throne”. This nama highlights Her highest authority of the universe.?This could possibly mean the basic elements.

?“She who sits on the five brahmas viz., Brahma, Vishnu, Rudra, Esana and Sadashiva”
These five brahmas are synonmous with enlightenment, moksha yoga, samadhi and nirvana.
It is very subtle in its meaning .We have to look at each one of them in their context.
Brahma -Brahma is traditionally depicted with four heads, four faces, and four arms. With each head, He continually recites one of the four vedas.
The Four Hands?– Brahmā’s four arms represent the four cardinal directions: east, south, west, and north. The back right hand represents mind, the back left hand represents intellect, the front right hand is ego, and the front left hand is self-confidence.
The Rosary?-Symbolizes the substances used in the process of creation. The Book – The book symbolizes knowledge.
The Gold?– Gold symbolizes activity; the golden face of Brahmā indicates that He is actively involved in the process of creating the Universe.
The Swan?– The swan is the symbol of grace and discernment. Brahmā uses the swan as a vehicle.
The Crown?– Lord Brahmā’s crown indicates His supreme authority.
The Lotus?– The lotus symbolizes nature and the living essence of all things and beings in the Universe.
The Beard?– Brahmā’s black or white beard denotes wisdom and the eternal process of creation.
The Four Faces?– The four vedas (Rig, Yajur, Atharva, and Sāma).
So Brahma is personified knowledge, which leads to enlightenment. so the first support is enlightenment which is Brahma.
vishnu is moksha because it is through Him that we attain the level of immortality. He is often referred to as the All-Pervading essence of all beings, the master of—and beyond—the past, present and future, the creator and destroyer of all existences, one who supports, sustains and governs the Universe and originates and develops all elements within.?“He who has no understanding, who is unmindful and always impure, never reaches that place, but enters into the round of births. But he who has understanding, who is mindful and always pure, reaches indeed that place, from whence he is not born again. But he who has understanding for his charioteer (intellect), and who holds the reins of the mind, he reaches the end of his journey, and that is the highest place of Vishnu.”
Shiva is also referred to as Rudra. He symbolises yoga. He is depicted as an ascetic Yogin Depicted as a yogin. His epithet Mahāyogin (“the greatyogi= Mahā = “great”, Yogin = “one who practices yoga”) refers to his association with yoga. While vedic religion was conceived mainly in terms of sacrifice, it was during the epic period that the concepts of tapas, yoga and asceticism became more important, and the depiction of Shiva as an ascetic sitting in philosophical isolation reflects these later concepts.?
Esana which is often called the qualifier, qualifier of enlightenment. This is achieved by the sahasrara chakra in a person leading to samidhi. Brahma-randhra, it is the meeting place of Kundalini Shakti and Shiva. Immortalityis achieved within Sahasrara Chakra. Before attaining to this chakra the yogi is unableto reach the unconscious conscious state called asama-prajnata-samadhi. In this state there is no activity of the mind and no knower, no knowledge, nothing to be known:knowledge, knower, and known all become unified and liberated.
When the Kundalini is raised up to Sahasrara chakra, the illusion of individual self is dissolved. The yogi becomes realized, one with the cosmic principles that govern the entire universe within the body.Samadhi is the pure bliss of total inactivity. Up to the sixth chakra the yogi may enter a trance in which activity or form still remains within the consciousness. In Sahasrara Chakra the prana moves upward and reaches the highest point. The mind establishes itself in the pure void of Shunya Mandala, the space between the hemispheres.
At this time all feelings, emotions and desires, which are the activities of the mind, are dissolved into their primary cause. The union is achieved. The yogi is sat-chit-ananda, truth-being-bliss.
So the samadhi is yogi in trans personified.
The last one is sadashiva who is said to be another form of shiva. It is the awakening of the human mind which leads to enlightenment or nirvana.
So when we say that she sits on the five brahmas ,enlightenment ,moksha samadhi and nirvana we are talking about enlightenment to the soul which is the actual site where she resides is very clearly depicted in this sentence.she rules the mind ,heart ,soul and our existence in this world is very clearly narrated.
Gataas the mancathvam Druhina-Hari-Rudr’eshavara-bhrutah
Sivah svacchac-chaya-ghatita-kapata-pracchada-pata;

Brahma, Vishnu, Rudhra and Easwara,Who are the gods who rule the world,
Become the four legs of your cot,So that they are able to serve you always.
Sadhashiva who is white in colour.
Becomes the bed spread on which you sleep,
And appears red , because he reflects your colour.
And to your eyes which are the personification,
Of the feelings of love,He gives lot of happiness
She is illuminated with jewels. She is above the Tridevas Lord Brahma, Lord Vishnu and Lord Maheshvara. She is the divine and celestial shakti of the three worlds and is Prakriti.
Sri Lalita Tripura Sundari is the supreme mother of the the three worlds and the chief of the Mahavidyas within the Sri kula.
Summary:
If you see the very aspect of study of the conscious and sub-conscious state of mind has already been done or rather been explained in lalitha sahasranamam and this further was in short and lame language is being performed by the dancers(performance) and recited by the musicians(recital). This is a very complex application from the view point of prapancha aspect or the creation aspect. Yet again thanks to the rishis and munis to produce the text for the reference which was in the form of nada or vocal format respectively. The very understanding of the pancha brahma swaroopini gives the gist of what is the composition of the very humanbody at higher knowledge base level. ?Though this is the beauty of lalitha sahasranamam again. Now the real challenge for the scholars /dancers /scientists /modern day doctors /modern day psychiatrists is that, how the individuals will be able to transcribe or understand the subjective and objective understanding. The reason is today we are missing upon this and beating around the bush. We are still searching and this search will not end. In?this?fast moving materialistic?world?man is worried more?about his gains in?terms of ?economy. These factors have made man to lead a stressful life, due to this man has become a victim of physical and mental disturbances leading to many disorders. So at this juncture the need of the hour is to divert himself towards yoga and spirituality. In the coming articles I will be explaining the yoga and its definition from the view point of lalithasahasranama. However here is where we get the proper definition and the clear process of practicing or performing the yoga.
