AES Converter Flexclosure

IOL is close to releasing our 8 channel AES Converter Flexclosure. 

The AES3 spec (twisted pair) allows the transport of audio up to 328’ whereas the AES3id spec (coax) calls out 3280’. 10X. Perfect for studio & reliable, proven and inexpensive long distance applications.

• 8ch AES3 110Ω twisted pair balanced audio IN, 8ch AES3id 75Ω coaxial unbalanced audio OUT.
• Metal female latched 3-pin XLRs to metal female locking BNCs, soldered to internal wire harness.
• Passive operation.
• ?Attractive aluminum enclosure quickly morphs from a desktop standalone into a 1RU rack mount.

The PCB functionality has been rigorously tested & approved, we’re now finalizing the metal work & packaging. We will have a pre-production prototype of the finished Flexclosure at Infocomm.

We can silkscreen the brand name and logo of your choice on the enclosure or you can brand in house using custom labels. The unit comes "ship-ready packaged” ... placed in it’s own individual shipping carton, bundled with desiccant, parts bag, etc…. simply add your printed collateral.

We will also market a 1ch unit, aka “cable bump,” just like a few other interconnect suppliers. But this is the market’s first & only 8ch converter. Unique design with competitive per channel pricing.
