AERO POST RIG IN CFD
The main goal for POST RIG analysis, is improve the damper, basically:
That is: is a analysis between suspension and tires vibration, in order to improve the damper, but also the sprung and unsprung masses, the tire stiffness, suspension springs, etc....
The problem is that the AERODYNAMIC, also produce vibrations so is necessary to improve the damper from these 3 vibrations:
- Tires.
- Suspension.
- Aerodynamic.
The principal problem in this study is that in a wind tunnel, is practically impossible install a post rig bench.
For reaching this goal (improve damper from 3 vibrations) is possible to use the CFD process, that is:
Generate a CFD simulation with Post Rig analysis:
- Is possible creating any vibration in a car.
Even more: is possible analyze the car in:
- Any corner
- Any yaw, roll, pitch or height variation.
- Any track even....
All these analysis are transients: in fact, the damper, only work in transient time....
I'm are able to generate a simulation CFD, also with:
- Third spring or damper.
- Mass damper.
- Any tire numeric model.
- Any spring damper as suspension.
- Any sprung and unsprung masses.
- Any Vibration as a track.
- Any damper as a suspension.
- Etc....
The options are a lot.
