Vibhor Kapoor, Principal Associate, Dispute Resolution

Vibhor has extensive experience in catering to domestic and international clients in a wide array of civil and commercial litigations across forums/ courts including suits for recovery, damages, suits arising out of Bank Guarantees and various contractual disputes etc. He has also represented clients in domestic?and international commercial arbitrations and ancillary court proceedings arising out of the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996. Mr. Kapoor has also advised and represented clients in various matters arising out of Companies Act, Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code, 2016, SARFAESI etc.

Sheetal Khandelwal, Principal Associate, Real Estate

Sheetal is an indispensable asset to Aekom Legal, bringing over a decade of in-house experience from her tenure at Housing Development Finance Corporation (HDFC). With a robust background in real estate and banking, she adeptly navigates complex legal landscapes, specializing in RERA compliance, securitization transactions, and debt recovery strategies. Beyond her legal acumen, Sheetal's interpersonal skills shine, fostering strong client relationships and effective collaboration within the team. Her strengths extend to meticulous due diligence, contract negotiation, and strategic counsel across real estate, corporate, and insolvency law domains.

Sumit Chandhok, Principal Associate, General Corporate

Sumit is a key member of Aekom Legal, specializing in corporate and securities law, corporate restructuring, and inbound and outbound FEMA advisory. With over 12 years of experience, he holds a Company Secretary qualification from ICSI, an LLB from CCS University, and an LLM from National Law University, Delhi. Sumit's expertise extends to regulatory compliance for Family Office advisory and Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs), serving a prominent clientele. His strategic counsel and adept navigation of complex legal landscapes make him invaluable to Aekom Legal and its clients.

Sayyeda Saniya, Senior Associate, Mergers & Acquisitions

Saniya is a vital asset to Aekom's M&A team, having approximately 4 years of experience in the field. Joining shortly after completing her LL.M from Berkeley School of Law, California, she swiftly established herself as a key player within the firm. Saniya's primary focus lies in providing expert advice to clients on private equity, strategic acquisitions, and foreign exchange and corporate law matters. Saniya brings a pragmatic and fresh approach to her work.

Nirmal Baskaran, Senior Associate, Mergers & Acquisitions

Nirmal is an integral part of Aekom's M&A team. With more than 4 years of experience in advising clients on variety of transactions ranging from banking & finance, private equity and strategic acquisitions, he has honed robust business and commercial acumen, benefiting the firm's clientele. Nirmal also regularly advises clients on a broad spectrum of legal areas, including general corporate practices and regulatory compliance.

Viresh Luthra, Senior Associate, General Corporate

Garima holds a Bachelor of Arts LL.B. (Hons.) from Jindal Global Law School and an Advanced Diploma in Alternative Dispute Resolution from NALSAR University of Law. With experience as a Legal Researcher at Delhi High Court and engagements with Senior Advocates in the Supreme Court, Garima specializes in Arbitration, insolvency & bankruptcy, corporate law, intellectual property rights (IPR), and insurance law. Her diverse expertise makes her a valuable asset in navigating complex legal matters.

Avani Sharma, Junior Associate, Dispute Resolution

Avani is an Advocate enrolled with the Bar Council of Delhi, specializing in Civil, Commercial, and Corporate Litigation, as well as Arbitration. A recent graduate of Symbiosis Law School, NOIDA, she holds a Bachelor's degree in Laws and Business Administration. Beyond her legal pursuits, Avani is also a professionally trained Kathak performer, having studied under the guidance of Padma Bhushan Guru Dr. Uma Sharma.
