This video is the presentation of Murray Gibson, PE, CPE and Bob Sesek at the 2023 AEC (Applied Ergonomics Conference) last week in New Orleans, LA. A huge thanks to all who attended our session, and I appreciate the questions and discussion that took place afterwards. The presentation shows the advantages of multi-task analysis methods such as RCRA (Recommended Cumulative Recovery Allowance) and FFT (Fatigue-Failure Theory) models by Auburn University. Also, the presentation demonstrates the inaccuracies & inconsistencies that commonly occur when ergonomists apply traditional single-task models to evaluate multi-task work. Enjoy!
