Advocating for Change: NSW Waratahs and NRI Unite with the Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation

Together with the NSW Waratahs and NRI, we are embarking on a mission to raise awareness and support for those affected by Breast Cancer.

Since our inception, the Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation has remained steadfast in our commitment to empowering individuals impacted by breast cancer through research, support, and advocacy. Today, we are excited to expand our collaboration with the NSW Waratahs and NRI for the 2024 season, fuelled by compassion and hope.

The unveiling of the captivating pink jersey design by the NSW Waratahs symbolises more than just a sporting event; it serves as a beacon of solidarity and support for individuals battling breast cancer. Through the Rugby for Good Charity Round (Round 4), on March 16, NSW Waratahs will have their pink jerseys on in their match against the Blues at Allianz Stadium. This momentous occasion will not only shine a spotlight on breast cancer awareness but also generate crucial funds to further our mission at the Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation.

In a heartwarming display of unity, the NSW Waratahs Women's team will also stand alongside us, adorning pink laces on their boots during their match against the ACT Brumbies at 5pm. Additionally, the presence of the Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation logo on the upper back of the Waratahs Women’s jerseys throughout the season serves as a reminder of our collective commitment to the cause.

Available to bid now, the match-worn jerseys will be auctioned online, with all proceeds generously donated to the Sydney Breast Cancer Foundation.
