Advice to my 30-year-old self…

What I have learned since starting in my new business which I wish I knew 15 years ago!

  1. Are you looking to protect your mortgage debts & currently have a bank sponsored creditor protection? a term life policy can often be much more economical & YOU own the policy not the bank!

2. Critical Illness is the Living Insurance that can provide you tax free cash to protect you against the financial hardships of contracting 29 life threatening illnesses and conditions.?

?3. A small business owner or professional with retained earnings in their corporation may be able to use a Life or Critical Illness Insurance to minimize taxes & provide a tax efficient income at retirement.

?4. Not all Home Insurance policies are created equal.?Cheaper is not better! We offer among the best Comprehensive Water coverage in the business. Check your coverages regularly to see if you are properly protected.

?5. Set up a Whole Life policy early in life, for a guaranteed lower premium, and use as it as an investment strategy.

?6. Who Wants to be a Millionaire? Saving 10% of your income when you start working will help lead to a healthy retirement nest egg!

?7. Group Plans through your company may not provide lifetime coverage or if you leave your current employer (like me) you may not be protected and are 15 years older when having to make a life insurance purchase.

?8. You can use insurance to act like your own bank as a forced savings with return of premium options and guaranteed cash values available.

?9. Term vs. Permanent: figure out your budget & get protected now.?All policies can be converted before a certain age in the future based on your health today!

?10. We pay $1000’s to ensure our automobiles however our largest assets and loved ones often go under insured.

Thank you for reading and my hope is that my new learnings can help you today regardless of your age!?The good news is it’s never too early or too late.?#tuesdaytipoftheweek?#before&after
