ARB OPENS THE 2022 CODE OF ADVERTISING PRACTICE (CAP) REVIEW PROCESS
The Advertising Regulatory Board (ARB) is calling for submissions on the review of the Code of Advertising Practise.
The ARB is the self-regulatory body that handles complaints about the content of advertising.
The ARB administers the Code of Advertising Practice under mandate from the advertising and marketing industry. The Code is a live and dynamic document that is constantly open to amendment and review to keep it in line with the needs and norms of the industry. Because of this, members of the industry and other stakeholders who work with the Code are invited to make submissions on any changes or additions that they feel would enrich the Code and self-regulation.
The ARB calls for any submissions in the current Code Review cycle to be made by close of business on 15 November 2022, where after all submissions will be reviewed and considered for inclusion in the Code.
Please submit your suggestions, pointing out which section and clause you are referring to, with a motivation, to [email protected]
