Adversity Leads to Success.

An internship is a very crucial time for any student in their life. It is the first step towards starting their career and using all learnings to their fullest.  

These internship days were a completely unexpected adventure for me; It was a mixture of having days that were extremely busy and stressful, but we never missed out on having fun, excitement, and learning new things. On one of the days when I was supposed to make a sample report which was my first time at such a task and was given specifically by the director Mr. Akash Anand. I immediately was excited, scared, and nervous at the same time and wanted to do my best to get a pat on my back, But not everything one wishes is what happens and yes I did not do anything close to perfect. I made not a bunch but innumerable mistakes. To which I was asked to correct my mistakes n’ several times. Somehow even after a couple of correction rounds, I was still struggling to achieve near perfection in my report. I lost confidence and had self-doubt. The Director observed all of this and wanted me to perform well. Hence, he understood the situation and pretty calmly explained to me my tasks and corrections and reminded me that I could do it. Also reminded me the reason for taking up the internship was to learn and that what exactly I was doing by constantly patiently accepting and correcting my mistakes and completing the deliverables. That day, I discovered that while it is always important to try your best and occasionally make mistakes, it's also important to maintain a positive outlook on yourself.

It did not start as a good day maybe but sure did end well and with me getting to learn many things other than just my work but an additional skill of being patient, confident, and calm.
