Adventure against procrastination

Consider a time traveler who arrives in the present from the past. Although they would be impressed by our cutting-edge technology and fascinating devices, they would also be perplexed by our propensity to put things off. Similar to selecting candy over a meal later, this decision can make you regret it.


Introducing Mr. Procrastination is a cunning figure that whispers in our ears, "Why work now when you can relax? Future You can manage it!" Imagine you have schoolwork to do, but it feels more comfortable watching movies of lovely animals. Procrastination attempts to fool you.

The secret is that our brains are simple and provide rapid information. Studying is less appealing than binge-watching television.? But guess what? Future You end up overwhelmed and stressed if you constantly listen to procrastination.

Let us now reveal some superhuman tricks to deceive Mr. Procrastination.

1. Consider organizing your space. Try saying, "I'll do it all," instead of, "I'll pick up my clothes first." You might complete it all once you start without feeling overwhelmed.

2. Concentrate on Mini Races: For instance, consider study as a racing game; 25 minutes have been set as the deadline; race against it. Whenever it rings, it pauses. How much you manage to do will sound like you!

3. Do not forget to reward yourself. We all deserve a reward for everything, no matter how tiny it seems because we accomplished it anyway. So next time, complete a task, praise yourself, and indulge guilt-free in a snack or your preferred TV.

4. Fearful of a large project: Instead of avoiding this, get a friend to come along with the experience. It is considerably simpler and much more enjoyable than panicking or fighting alone.

5. Visualize Your Victory: Close your eyes and visualize the presentation. These success stories appeal to the brain, encouraging you to start.

6. Plan your movements; let us say, you want to work out. Make a plan like, "I'll do jump jacks just for 10 minutes daily before going to work."? Procrastination finds it more challenging to infiltrate plans.

7. Be kind, not just with others but with yourself, do not be too hard on yourself if you lapse and watch too much YouTube; that’s okay, sometimes. Simply get back on course and continue, and this time maybe a little bit more!
