Global Builders Restoration - Disaster Recovery, Storm, Water, Mold, Fire, and Smoke Damage
It is important to consider what you would do in the event of a disaster. The one common denominator with every loss that we experience is that the customer wants to know how quickly we can restore them back to pre-loss condition. I would strongly encourage anyone who has a lot to lose to consider getting an Emergency Response Plan (ERP) or a Business Continuity Plan. If you do have one, we recommend that you update your plan annually. One part of the ERP is to document your assets preloss. This is a huge time saver. Here is an example of how many items will be documented post loss. This is an average size home. You can extrapolate, if a home or business is large, the order of magnitude increase of documentation required. Here are some advantages to recording your assets on Matterport:
?Eliminates multiple site visits
?Record pre-damage & post- damage condition of content items to share to interested parties (Property Managers, Business/Building Owners, Homeowners, Adjusters, Estimators, and Agents).
?Asset inventory- can make visual notes on pre-loss of any appraised on newly receipted inventory
?Catalog building materials pre-loss, note item numbers, where inventory of a particular material was purchased or where it currently can be purchased with contact information to expedite ordering materials to rebuild in the event of a loss.
?Comprehensive interactive record of structure prior to disaster.
?Precise measurements of floor plan with laser technology to speed up Estimation Process for readily available sketches available for adjusters to review.
?Prior documentation streamlines claim process to document preloss and postloss condition.
?Reduced financial and market share losses by documenting every asset.
?Can export data using OBJ format (standard 3D object file format) to share data with entire team.
