Since joining Shell in 2001 as a Systems Engineer, Ed has held various positions across Digital Systems, Surface Engineering, Strategy, Deal Delivery, and Asset Commercialization.

With a solid educational background, Ed holds a bachelor’s degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering from the Federal University of Technology Owerri, a Master’s Degree in Engineering from the University of Southampton in the UK, and an MBA from INSEAD, which spans campuses in France, the US (Wharton), and Singapore.

His leadership in the Nigerian gas sector is well-recognized, as he is the Immediate Past President of the Nigerian Gas Association (NGA), where he played a pivotal role in advocating for and fostering gas-related development across the country.

His dedication to maximizing the potential of domestic gas within the energy value chain was further acknowledged when he was named the African Gas Advocate of the Year in 2022.

Ed is also an active member of several professional associations, including the Society of Petroleum Engineers, reflecting his deep commitment to advancing the gas industry both in Nigeria and across Africa.
