Advancing The Health Sciences Through Scientific Storytelling is the signature work at For Nurses By Nurses Productions. Producer, Denetra Hampton will be screening her film, The Black Angels: A Nurse's Story at Thomas Jefferson School of Nursing on November 20, 2024 at 2 PM EST. The screening will accompany a lecture and exhibits with the following themes:

About The Work
The Black Angels: A Nurse's Story, a For Nurses By Nurses Production 2018 documentary, is hailed out of Staten Island, New York. It tells the story of the legendary nurses known as THE BLACK ANGELS who were critical to scientific work in finding the cure for tuberculosis. The film gives homage to the life of Black Angel, Marjorie Tucker Reed. This is her only filmed interview.
