In an insightful live stream by LCP Delta in collaboration with SmartEN Europe, LCP Delta shared the latest in demand-side flexibility progress across Europe. The UK, Sweden, France, and Germany were among the most progressive, with countries like Portugal, Spain, Ireland, Italy, and Greece classified as early-stage adopters. Priorities for the EU Legislature 2024-2029
Paving the way for progress in demand-side flexibility and energy industry transformation is the EU’s commitment to legislate under 6 core pillars between 2024 and 2029 (illustrated above by smartEn Smart Energy Europe ). Pillar 5 will be of particular interest to Aggregators, as the EU demonstrates its commitment to recognise and support the demand management industry.
