Advanced Management Course completed!

Louise Cullen and I have just completed a REC two day training course in Manchester - the course was Advanced Management and I have to say it was excellent!

Once the initial stress of hacking into central Manchester had been overcome we were introduced to the trainer - as bubbly and wonderful lady called Stephanie.

I had convinced myself that the reason I was on the course was to support our newly promoted Recruitment Manager Louise Cullen. But it quickly became apparent to me that there were some real benefits for me actually being there - so I launched myself into a fantastic two days.

During the time we discussed the difference between Pressure and Stress / Conflict Management / Emotional Investment and Motivation. We explored how as Managers we manage up and manage down. We explored do we have the right people doing the right job and what motivates one does not motivate another.

At the end of the two days with the help of Stephanie I was able to remind myself that Recruitment Solutions (NW) Ltd is an excellent business - with defined Policies Procedures and excellent on-going Training and Personal Development culture. That we have in place the tools that our Consultants need in order to continue to provide an excellent Recruitment Service.

I was also able to watch as Louise opened herself up to her new role and the challenges she faces and the success that she will be - it was a really proud moment!

With my Co Director Gavin we are planning the next phase of our expansion and development. The team are buzzing and are ready for the next chapter for Recruitment Solutions (NW) Ltd.
