Advanced Health Education Center Announces Retirement of Chief Operating Officer Peggy Hoosier, M.Ed, RT(R)(M)

October 17, 2024, Houston, TX – Advanced Health Education Center, Ltd., a leading national provider of continuing education and specialized skills training for healthcare professionals, and parent company to prominent healthcare staffing agency MEDRelief Staffing, announces the retirement of its Chief Operating Officer, Peggy Hoosier, effective December 1, 2024.?

Mrs. Hoosier, a distinguished educator and pioneer in radiologic science, began her career in Beaumont, TX. A former Imaging Program Director at Lamar University, she is a registered radiologic technologist and mammographer. Peggy holds a Master of Education from Lamar University. Initially joining Advanced Health Education Center as adjunct faculty, she quickly progressed to a full-time role in 1997 as Assistant Director of Education. Her dedication and expertise soon led her to become AHEC/MEDRelief Staffing’s first Chief Operating Officer.?

Throughout her tenure, Peggy has been a compassionate mentor to many and a passionate advocate for women’s health, leading AHEC’s acclaimed mammography program. Known for her relatable and insightful teaching style, Peggy was a sought-after instructor, presenting AHEC courses across the United States and internationally.?
