Depolarizing messages “can win elections”?

Researchers recently found the “Disagree Better” campaign, which features Republican and Democratic leaders talking about the need to reduce toxicity in politics, reduced partisan hostility and increased support for bipartisanship.

And there’s more. People who watched these videos had more positive views of the leaders involved. Utah Governor Spencer Cox said, “We have, now, scientific proof that [this approach] will actually help candidates perform.”

If disagreeing better helps candidates in their quests for office, we have a real shot at changing the discourse!?
