ADP Pays Millions to Attorney with Disturbing History of Domestic Violence & Sex Crimes

ADP has made a shockingly controversial choice in their hiring of outside legal counsel.

Personally chosen and hired by ADP was West Palm Beach attorney, Mario M. Ruiz (FL Bar #: 894590) from the McDonald Hopkins LLC , Law Firm. According to court documents obtained from the Lee County Clerk of Court ADP has already paid Ruiz over $1.4 Million.

What’s so shocking and controversial about Mario M. Ruiz?

From the outside, Ruiz may seem like just another small time and unknown attorney however, it appears to be much more sinister for those that seem to be the closest to Ruiz. However, according to the Miami Dade Clerk of Courts, it appears in June 1994 or a short time after Ruiz and his first wife filed for divorce his first/former wife filed an Injunction for Domestic Violence against Ruiz (State Case No.: 131994DR012538000004).

According to the Miami Dade Clerk of Courts “Criminal Division,” in December of 1994 which was just three months after an Injunction was filed against Ruiz for Domestic Violence Ruiz was arrested with and charged with Lewd & Lascivious Behavior (State Case No.: 13-1994-MO-060237-0001-XX). ?The Smith & Eulo Law Firm’s website defines Lewd & Lascivious Behavior as,

“In the state of Florida, lewd and lascivious behavior is defined as sexual acts or contact with anyone under the age of 16 years old, in other others the same thing as “lewd or lascivious molestation“. It appears that history has once again repeated itself for Ruiz.?Based on the Miami Dade Clerk of Courts it appears that Ruiz is currently in the midst of another nasty divorce and if you didn’t already figure it out, Ruiz was once again slapped with another Injunction for Domestic Violence. However, this time by his second wife. (State Case No.: 132020DR007113A00104).??

Even more disturbing allegations can be found in the 56 pages of emails between Ruiz and his wife that were produced as exhibits in which his wife not only accuses him of abusing her but also their daughter.

For the craziest of all and possibly one of the main reasons for the divorce can also be found in the email exhibits in which Ruiz’s wife claims to have proof of him of having his share of extramarital affairs and “Even reaching out to Shemales.” ?Ruiz's former wife even claims to have proof of this. ?How is Ruiz still able to practice law?

Good question.?Only The Florida Bar can answer why they would allow an attorney (that is supposed to live up to the highest ethical standards) that has repeatedly been charged with and/or accused of sexual, emotional and physical violence towards women and if his former wife’s allegations are true.. his own children stay in good standing.

Why would ADP choose to hire such a disgraceful and disturbing attorney to represent them?

Another great question that is currently unknown.?Being that Ruiz and ADP’s CEO Carlos Rodriguez are Cuban Americans from the Miami area that are about the same age it’s possible that Ruiz has really close ties to ADP’s own CEO, Carlos Rodriguez.?Perhaps Carlos Rodriguez and Ruiz share the same interest/activities and like they say, “birds of a feather flock together.”?
