Adopt-A-Vet
Are you aware that every single day 22 veterans succumb to suicide? It is an epidemic that must be taken head on and with vigilance.
In April of 2017 Project 4-22 took 22 veteran leaders from across Missouri to the inaugural Institute of Cannabis Research (ICR) conference at Colorado State University-Pueblo. The experience of learning about cannabis based research from world renowned physicians, scientists and researchers is truly a life changing experience.
This educational opportunity has the potential to empower, treat, and educate our veterans. ICR’s mission statement directly aligns with the basis of our foundation “The Institute of Cannabis Research generates new knowledge of cannabis and its derivatives through research and education that improves lives and contributes to science, medicine and society.”
Project 4-22 is now preparing to take 22 more leaders and their advocates to the ICR of 2018! In order to fulfill this mission we have to raise $10,000 in the next few months in order to finance this expedition and we need your help! After group discounts we have reduced our cost to ONLY $450 per veteran. This includes admittance to the 3 day conference, lodging, and travel related expenses.
We need 22 sponsors to adopt a veteran with a minimum donation of $450, but we will gladly accept a donation of any amount. Will you help empower our group of veterans and help stop this epidemic? Sponsors can remain anonymous, have you or your company name on the website as an official sponsor, or even donate in the memory of a veteran. Support our mission by donating to “The Project 4-22 Foundation” by check or by credit card at Project422. org after clicking on the PayPal link.
We cannot thank you enough for your support. Every donation is a step closer to saving a life.
Respectfully,
Blake Bell
Executive Director Project 4-22
P.S. – All directors work pro bono and in honor of the sacrifice that these men and women have made for us all.
