Adobe Xd States?-?An awesome new Feature for Interaction Designers

Adobe has included a new and very much useful update. It is often a headache for a designer working in Adobe Xd to create minute interactions like toggle button, checkboxes etc. as it creates lots of screens and also a huge mess.

Adobe Xd's new updates can now solve your problem.

It also has a feature to create a hovering interaction for a button within a few clicks.

So while making a new component or working with a new component, for example here I have used a button component, we can see a new option named Default State.

So there we can see a '+' symbol and by clicking it we will have some new options such as New State and Hover State.

By selecting the Hover State, you can now choose what interaction you want to have while on hovering state.

Here I chose to have a blue colour with button sliding to the left. After doing this you can now link the Default State and Hover State in the Prototype section.

The other option named New State creates a custom interaction for one-click interaction such as checkboxes, Toggle buttons etc.

You can play around with the option as you like.

These can be repeated in any screens as it is saved in the component section.
