Adobe Max 2016 - Something to crow about.

San Diego is full of buzz, some 10,000 graphic designers, animators, photographers, illustrator, 3d artists, and many others belonging to the design community are part of the Adobe annual conference that kicked off yesterday and shall continue for three days. Every year Adobe, the digital experience giant, attracts designers and developers at their MAX event to see and hear the latest from Adobe. There are speakers who are industries top designers sharing their stories, people from Adobe talking about the latest products, workshops, hands-on-projects and of course lunch and breakfast.

Greeted by a two-minute MAX video stream full of creative works in a fully charged visual effects in the backdrop of an equally amazing soundtrack on the huge screens, is just mind-blowing. According to Adobe’s CEO, who needs 3d goggles when you have such multiple screens giving you a truly virtual reality experience.

Day 1:

It kicks off with the CEO Shantanu Narayen keynote followed by Adobe executive vice president Bryan Lamkin. While the first keynote mainly speaks about the creative community and how designers are making a huge impact, Bryan Lamkin highlights about the adobe products including the latest release of Adobe Creative Cloud, including Project Felix, Adobe XD, Social Publishing Panel in Premiere Pro, Adobe Stock Templates, Adobe Spark and more. During the sessions, the Creative Cloud 2017 release is also announced.

What follows the keynotes are demos of Adobe's latest products in action. You will see how Adobe is empowering designers to do more with the latest technologies and features in the creative cloud. If you are a designer you surely not want to miss these amazing cookies. And even if you aren't the Adobe products and features will equally blow you away with all the capabilities one can only imagine.

It's truly incredible how adobe put such an amazing show where you can hear Airbnb chief designer talks about their workflow and why design is at the very centre of their everyday life. See Adobe products work magic on Microsoft Surface Studio, the latest from Microsoft Surface Family and already under the limelight. Check out how Adobe is making designers life easy with Adobe Stock, searching and managing image assets has never been so easy. This and a lot of other cool stuff has happened at MAX and, take my word for it; if you are a designer you will be really thrilled to know all the new features and updates that have been added to creative cloud.

Day 2:

While Day 1 is all about Adobe products and features, Day 2 lauds some of the great achievers in the creative industry. Adobe’s chief marketing officer; Ann Lewness starts the day with her keynote giving a tribute to the design community, talking about their achievements using technology as a tool to create really amazing things.

The keynote is followed by speakers who have done some groundbreaking and inspirational works. Among them is Fashion designer Zac Posen, War Photographer Lynsey Addario, Sculptor Janet Echelman, & last but not the least Quentin Tarantino the most celebrated and dynamic filmmaker of his generation; maker of Pulp Fiction, Inglorious Bastards and some other blockbuster crime movies.

Again if you are a designer these sessions will really inspire you about the trendsetters in the industry, you may relate to some of their stories or their stories can spark something new in your creative thinking.

I have been following Adobe for more than a decade, and I must say no other software enterprise has given the community so much as Adobe have. I am all eyes and ears to watch the live streaming on Adobe Max, and it’s been a real treat so far.
