Through Enersol, we have acquired companies, and their intellectual property, at the forefront of advanced drilling technologies, including digital and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies, that have the potential to revolutionize oil and gas operations by improving operational efficiency, enhancing safety, and reducing costs, and thus ensuring a brighter, cleaner future for generations to come.

AI is the most transformative technology of our generation and by acquiring machine learning, deep learning and generative AI technologies, we can gain unprecedented insights that drive lower emissions, anticipate mechanical and supply chain malfunctions and support substantial energy efficiency gains.

For example, Enersol’s Gordon Technologies, LLC is a global leader in measurement-while-drilling (MWD) technology, which provides real-time, accurate measurements from the drill bit to the surface without interrupting drilling operations, supporting drilling optimization and efficiency by minimizing invisible lost time.

Gordon’s patented technology is especially beneficial in high temperature applications, such as in the UAE, where Gordon has been awarded a contract by Turnwell, JV with SLB and Patterson-UTI, as part of Abu Dhabi’s unconventional energy program.

The 360-degree downhole cameras and integrated camera-ultrasound technologies by EV, an Enersol company, set a new standard for vivid visual diagnostic information that supports well operators to make timely and informed decisions that increase operational efficiency, maximize production and reduce costs.

Enersol’s portfolio companies will also have an opportunity to play a pivotal role in the UAE’s first automated well, which is currently under construction by Turnwell. Autonomous well construction will further enhance drilling outcomes and well economics, as well as a reduced carbon footprint and minimized HSE risks.

We’ve already seen Gordon Technologies expand outside the US, to the UAE, for the first time after it was acquired by Enersol. NTS AMEGA GLOBAL and Deep Well Services, also acquired by Enersol last year, also intend to expand through the GCC and beyond as clients look to benefit from their technologies and services. ?

Enersol’s technology supports ADNOC Drilling and other clients to get more energy out with less resources, and thus by definition with less emissions. All of this is good for the environment, the national economy and business. ?
