Myth about CUET vs CET
CUET and CET exams are totally different. The CUET exams are conducted by the Central Universities for getting admission into various central universities across India. Whereas CET exams are conducted by various states for the purpose of getting admission into state level colleges.
Delhi University BCOM and BCOM (H) seats are filled on the basis of Merit of CUET entrance conducted by NTA. However GGSIPU which offer only BCOM (H) would give first preference to those who qualify the Common Entrance Test -CET. GGSIPU in its admission brochure clearly mentioned that "Filling up vacant seats on the basis of merit of CUET after exhausting the merit list of National Level Test/Common Entrance Test conducted by University". Thus students who wish to get priority to be admitted GGSIPU BCOM (H) must give GGSIPU-CET along with CUET. This increase the chance of every BCOM (H) aspirant chance to get desired program. Moreover in pursuing GGSIPU BCOM (H) those students who have not studied maths in class 12th can also apply for GGSIPU BCOM (H).
