Adjustments - what is reasonable?

Adjustments - what is reasonable?

Do you have a truly inclusive working environment? Do you get the best out of your workforce?

Reasonable adjustments play a huge part in enabling disabled people to obtain and stay in employment. There are approximately 5 million disabled people in employment in the UK, however the employment gap between disabled and non-disabled people is now greater than ever before, with those suffering from mental health problems having the lowest employment rates of all disabled people.

In this course, working with professionals from Microlink PC (UK) Ltd , we will guide you through the legal framework for making reasonable adjustments. We will tackle what is reasonable, how the needs of individuals will differ, how to get the best out of occupational health (OH) and work constructively with colleagues to ensure you have a truly inclusive working environment and get the best out of your workforce. We will also cover the difficult topic of how to manage termination of disabled colleagues where adjustments cannot be implemented or have been exhausted.

This training course is a must for HR professionals, in-house lawyers, staff with line-management responsibilities or anyone taking in an interest in diversity, with a specific focus on disability.
