Adieu Friends, Colleagues and the Civil Service

Today is my last day in the Civil Service! What a rich, humbling and rewarding experience through which I found my true career calling a passion in climate change, energy, and international development. I have now edited this post to attempt to recognise my colleagues/friends along the fellowship journey - I am sure I have missed a lot of people and I apologise.

What next? Onward and upward but watch this space and be rest assured it will be a combination of Climate Change, Energy and International – which are the trinity of my career passion and calling!

I have made friends, created sustainable commercial models, driven delivery of central government policies and gained recognition(s). I owe a debt of gratitude to all who have been on this fellowship journey, who have shaped and nurtured me. KMPG Re-Imagine Challenge, where I worked on behalf of the Civil Service CEO, a Permanent Secretary, and a KPMG Partner, to devise solutions for enhancing digital skills and I got the opportunity to tell the Civil Service CEO “Show me the Money”!
