What is ADF Dev Box?

ADF Dev Box is an integrated development environment with the necessary tools and resources to facilitate the development, testing, and deployment of ADF applications.

Why do we need it?

The following are the key reasons why we need it –

• Developers and testers to focus on higher cognitive tasks rather than resolving environment issues.
• It helps us to have a consistent environment across development, testing, staging, and Production. This means that code that has been tested and runs successfully on a developer's machine should run without issue on any other platform.

The automation process was designed to reduce the steps for developers and testers to be able to set up the system at any time and as many times as necessary. If we want to recreate the complete setup for some reason, it can be quickly destroyed and recreated in a matter of minutes.
