Bottas back in 2025

Finnish Formula 1 race winner Valtteri Bottas will mark his return to the Mercedes Formula 1 Team by driving a DTM race-winning Mercedes 190E at the 2025 Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival on Sunday March 9.

Bottas has been a fan favourite at the Adelaide Motorsport Festival and is an ambassador for the event, with the 10-time Grand Prix winner returning to Adelaide the week before the start of the 2025 Formula 1 season at the Australian Grand Prix in Melbourne.

Bottas will drive the DTM Mercedes 190E in the Touring Car Legends category in his appearance at the 2025 Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival.

The Finn returns to the Mercedes Formula 1 Team as Third Driver in 2025, the team with which he raced for five seasons and finishing as runner-up in the F1 World Championship twice.

The DTM-spec Mercedes 190E took part in the Bathurst 1000 and the Group A support race at the Australian Grand Prix in Adelaide, restored and run by former driver Andrew Miedecke.

Bottas joins other Formula 1 personalities at the 2025 Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival, including Damon Hill, Guenther Steiner, Thierry Boutsen, Alan Jones, David Brabham, David Croft and more.

Schedule released and categories locked in

The on-track schedule for the 2025 Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival has been released for the event taking place in Victoria Park on March 8 and 9.

The on-track action at the 2025 Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival is non-stop without a break in track activity at any stage of the two days of the event.

New categories at the 2025 Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival include Can-Am, Hypercar, Le Mans and NASCAR – with the star cars in these categories including the trio of Shadow Can-Am cars, Aston Martin Vulcan, Pagani Huayra R, Mazda 767B, Porsche 962C, Nissan R88C and more.

There will be three Formula 1 sessions per day, featuring the six-wheeled Tyrrell P34 alongside other grand prix cars.

New-look categories include Touring Car Legends, which feature Group A and V8 Supercar touring cars on track together.

The Repco Circuit Safari returns in 2025, allowing lucky guests and fans to be in a bus on track alongside a selection of race cars.

The 2025 Repco Adelaide Motorsport Festival will conclude with a ‘Ten of the Best Shootout’, pitting a selection of sportscars and hypercars (exclusively for tin-tops) in a race against the clock to determine the fastest at 5:30pm on Sunday March 9.

Hospitality offerings for 2025

Take your Adelaide Motorsport Festival experience to the next level in a trackside garden or villa at the event on March 8 and 9, 2025.

Exclusive trackside villas are operated by Adelaide BMW, American Motors, Mercedes Benz Adelaide and Unley, Porsche Centre Adelaide and Zagame Automotive Adelaide, with enquiries for these premium villas to be directed directly to those organisations. In addition to these there are the Adelaide Motorsport Festival’s own Toyota Gazoo Racing Garden and Pagani VIP Suite.

The Toyota Gazoo Racing Garden has sold out for Saturday March 8, with limited tickets remaining for Sunday March 9.

The Pagani VIP Suite is where guests can rub shoulders with celebrities, motorsport stars, VIPs and more, with all-day dining and various food and wine options. Limited tickets to the Pagani VIP Suite are available to the public.

Pre-entry registrations for 2025 Shannons Adelaide Rally

Pre-entry registrations for the 2025 Shannons Adelaide Rally, being held on November 21 to 23, are open and filling up fast. With capacity reached in pre-entry registrations for the Main Tour, Spirit Tour and Prima Tour in the 2025 Shannons Adelaide Rally, new registrations will be added to a wait list. Pre-registered entrants will have the chance to enter first, before entries are opened to everyone.

The Prima Tour will once again feature on the first day of the 2025 Shannons Adelaide Rally, giving you the chance to drive four stages of the rally followed by a lunch, while full rally categories include Competition, Challenge, Spirit Tour and Main Tour.
