Addressing how we grow together in the hybrid, remote world of work: Kigen's first steps

Kigen is rapidly expanding our teams of industry experts globally. Kigen has quadrupled revenue since it was founded as an independent company back in 2020. This has allowed Kigen to accelerate the growth of its Technical Excellence Centre in Noida, India supporting ongoing hiring across a range of roles, from technical teams to data centers and supporting teams such as Admin and Sales. Kigen recently announced the appointment of Papiya RAIPAL as Kigen’s Country Director for India in June. She brings a wealth of experience from the security sector and various leadership roles.

As part of her new role, Papiya organized a team-wide event from 18th-21st July, supported by Global People Advisor Nirmala Venkata , where a series of team-building sessions aimed at welcoming new employees to the company took place.

?It was delivered in person in Noida, India and broadcast globally at several of our hub locations, allowing our teams to meet and learn together, which is important as the company continues to grow teams remotely.?These activities provided a rich onboarding experience, delivering the support and training required to help Kigen deliver operational and customer excellence.

?The week started with two “Big Picture” sessions, hosted by Kigen’s VP, People Lucy Newton , which provided new starters with insight into each department at Kigen and the diverse eco-system in which Kigen operates. At Kigen, all are encouraged to keep a wide scope view – to think big and lead from any and every station. These exchanges are intended to empower and catalyst this growth mindset.

Following these sessions, the team participated in several activities to strengthen team building and other soft skills. They covered areas such as Engage & Get to Know People, Awareness & Alignment with Kigen Values and the Importance of Team Working, which Raguvaran Chandraseker and Subha MV hosted.
