It's probably most people favorite part of any property investment deal that they get involved with.
And it's an integral?aspect of increasing the value of your investment property.
I'm talking of course about The Refurbishment stage.
Once the right property deal has been sourced (preferably one needing a bit of an update) and the property has gone through the legal process it's time to start getting it ready for your chosen exit strategy.
Which will more than likely be for either the Buy to Let market or to sell it on to make a profit.
It's definitely?my favorite part of the process, seeing an old and tired house transformed into something brand new and ready for a family to call their home.
And because we all know you make your money when you buy.
As well as the instant equity create by negotiating a bit of a discount...
Adding the value through a refurbishment?will help bring your investment property up to the street ceiling price leaving you with a pretty decent capital increase.
Having the right build team on board is also a major factor in getting your refurb right the first time around to avoid any delays in the project and to ensure a decent finish for your end user.

We all love Homes under the Hammer, but taking on these type of projects yourself could be costly if you're inexperienced and it will be time consuming 100% (been there and done that).
