Adding Value, Changing Lives

The attitude of the leader affects the atmosphere of the office and the whole organisation. If you as a leader desire to add value by serving others, you will become a better leader. Your attitude as a leader will also determine the loyalty of your people, their achievements and will also determine how things will get done in your organisation.

There are four guidelines for adding value to others in business and life in general.

1. Truly value others:

Effective leadership go beyond not harming others, they intentionally help others. They must value people and demonstrate that they care in such a way that their followers know it.

 2. Make yourself more available to others:

The more intentionally you have been growing personally, the more you have to offer your followers.

 3. Know and relate to what others value:

Talk less and start listening to your people’s stories, their hopes and their dreams. Learn what is valuable to them and then lead based on what you have learned.

 4. Do things that God values:
