This is a solution searching for a problem... what use cases do you see?
Example: A line of code in the Date Table Advanced Editor could save you loading columns you don't need. In this specific scenario it's probably easier just to highlight the columns you don't need and delete them at the final step... but I think there must be other useful use cases here. Let me know your ideas in the comments.
