Adding DOJ to "Yes" List
The Department of Justice (DOJ) has three primary grant-making components, the?Office of Justice Programs (OJP), the Office on Violence Against Women (OVW) and the Office of Community Oriented Policing Services (COPS Office). I've recently had a chance to work on a COPS Office grant for KYF and to edit a Bureau of Justice Assistance program under OJP called "Second Chance Act Smart Supervision Program."
I've helped a County Sheriff's Office apply for funding to expand their use of body-worn cameras into their detention facility. Helpful for the grant is that their detention facility is used for high-profile detainees since its location limits media coverage.
I've actually switched ED from the "Perhaps" list to the "No Thank You" list and vise versa for DOL grants. I now have more experience for DOL grants and they have more promise than ED Pre-ETS grants and WIOA grants. WIOA = Workforce Innovation and Opportunity Act and it is a Dept of Labor grant.
Need a grant written for DOJ, Dept of Homeland Security (DHS), Department of Defense (DOD = Army, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency(DARPA), Defense Health Agency, Defense Logistics Agency, Defense Microelectronics Activity, Defense Threat Reduction Agency, Missile Defense Agency, National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency, Office for Chemical and Biological Defense, Office of the Secretary of Defense, Space Development Agency, Special Operations Command Strategic Capabilities Office) or Dept of Energy (DOE or ARPA-e), Dept of Transportation (DOT), or National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA)? Let me know! I can help.
