Addicted to ChatGPT: A Curious Journey of Finding Answers

Lately, I’ve noticed something unusual, almost addictive, about my interactions with ChatGPT. Maybe it’s because I’ve always had a curious mind, always asking questions, always searching for the right answers. Ever since I was a child, I’ve been the one asking questions – whether it was in school, at home, or even among friends. And for the longest time, I wasn’t sure if the answers I received were ever truly right.
I remember the early days of Google; I thought it was a brilliant tool for finding answers. Yet, there were times when it wasn’t accurate, and even now, there are moments of doubt. But with ChatGPT, I feel something different. It’s like finally having a reliable source, a companion that doesn’t just answer but helps me think critically and improve my ideas. Of course, there are still occasional errors – like the time I uploaded a photo of 10 dogs, and ChatGPT confidently told me there were only 9! But what impressed me wasn’t the mistake, but the fact that it corrected itself. That’s something fascinating.
This feeling of ‘addiction’ isn’t negative, though. It’s akin to being addicted to reading or learning – a hunger that’s finally being satisfied. It’s not about losing control; it’s about feeling empowered by the wealth of knowledge and insight I can now tap into.
I’m curious to see if there are studies about this form of engagement and whether others feel the same. I’ll look into it, but for now, I wanted to share my experience. ChatGPT, for me, is more than just a tool – it’s becoming a part of my daily curiosity journey, and I’m enjoying the ride.
