A.Dd+ you are still being counted on!!
Do you remember the warm tingly feeling that you got when you listened to your now favorite song for the first time? No, well I bet you remember the smile you have on your face whenever that song comes thru your speakers today. That is the feeling of joy that I have now as I lurk through Pershaun and Slim Gravy's various social media profiles for more conversations between the beloved Dallas brothers. Last year when the duo decided to split it was a cold day in what Paris calls the triple digital streets of Dallas, Texas. A day that no one who has watched the duo grow since the release of their 2009 debut mixtape "Power of The Tongue" ever foresaw coming. But, one thing my grandmother always taught me is that there's a rainbow after every storm if the sun is out. Well, my fellow music addicts it looks like the rays of positive energy and reconciliation that the A.Dd+ fans have been meditating and praying for are finally coming to light. Slim has recently posted several throwback pictures of the group and their classic projects such as the 2011 "When Pigs Fly" mixtape which includes my all time favorite track "The Rapper and The Poet","DiveHiFlyLo: Every Man Is King" and their 2014 "Nawf EP" stating that he will be relocating back to Dallas from Austin, Texas. Paris of course running parallel to Slim has been busy himself reminding us who the A.Dd+ kings are with his recent throwback-comeback posts of the groups A.Dd+ Hoe flyers and all I can really say at this point is thank-you! Thank you for continuously being the amazingly talented artists that you are both individually and as a group and yes, if there is any doubt in your mind you are still indeed being counted on. A.Dd+ we will always love you please come and show us something new! As we wait patiently for more news of the groups happenings and I personally continue to replay some of their hits as I ride through the city be sure you do the same and stream Nawf America one time for A.Dd+ today!
