Add Pin to Workspaces - Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (D365FO). Helps end users to track status of their work in daily operations

Overview: Let's say some Procurement person wants to keep an eye on the information that how many Purchase orders are in draft status, which will help him to plan his priorities on daily routine. Normally some of them use sticky notes to see this kind of information to have an eye on it. Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations Dashboard gives the flexibility of adding such kind of information on workspace which gives information on Draft status Purchase orders which will be keeping track of the information to Purchase clerk to keep an eye and prioritize his work.

1. Click on the workspace on which the summary information needs to be plugged.

2. Right click the Tile for which the information needs to be displayed along with workspace on the dashboard and select Personalize

3. Select the Checkbox Pin to dashboard

4. Close the workspace and refresh the dashboard screen. Information of the Purchase orders that are in draft status is attached to the respective workspace.
