AOGV (Add On Gate Valve) Technology Now Available in Thailand and Singapore

Dacon Inspection Technologies has signed a collaboration agreement with IK Group bringing their patented AOGV (Add On Gate Valve) technology to Thailand and Singapore.?AOGV is a mechanical isolation tool that provides positive isolation of individual pipe sections at flanges. Maintenance of individual pipe sections and valves can then be carried out without the need for shutdowns.?Drastically reducing time and cost requirements by eliminating the need to shut down the entire line. Individual pipe section isolation also eliminates the need for purging and flushing of the entire line. AOGV is available on and offshore, topside, and subsea via ROV operation.

How does it work?

The AOGV achieves positive isolation by inserting an isolation spade onto a live flange.?The AOGVs benefit lies in the fact that no prior or lasting fittings or preparation are required.?The AOGV fits onto all flange fittings and is removed just as easily.?Rendering it ready for application at any time and as you need it. The entire system is sealed from the flange until the repair is made. The flange is then returned to its original state with a new gasket and bolts.?Internal pressures within the AOGV are constantly monitored throughout the job.?Should an unsafe situation occur, the work can be stopped at any time.
