ADAS SYSTEM

ADAS SYSTEM

ADAS, or Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, are electronic systems in vehicles that use advanced technologies to assist the driver in various driving tasks, enhancing safety and driving ease. These systems rely on sensors, cameras, radar, and software to detect and interpret the vehicle's surroundings and provide appropriate responses or warnings.

### Key Features of ADAS

1. Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC): Automatically adjusts the vehicle's speed to maintain a safe distance from the vehicle ahead.

2. Lane Departure Warning (LDW) and Lane Keeping Assist (LKA): Alerts the driver if the vehicle begins to drift out of its lane and can also gently steer it back.

3. Automatic Emergency Braking (AEB): Detects imminent collisions and applies the brakes if the driver does not act in time.

4. Blind Spot Detection (BSD): Monitors the blind spots and alerts the driver to the presence of vehicles in those areas.

5. Traffic Sign Recognition (TSR): Identifies traffic signs such as speed limits and displays them to the driver.

6. Parking Assistance: Assists the driver in parking, which can include automated parallel and perpendicular parking.

7. Collision Avoidance System (CAS): Uses various sensors to detect obstacles and actively helps the driver avoid accidents by steering, braking, or accelerating.

8. Driver Monitoring System (DMS): Monitors the driver’s attention and alertness, providing warnings or taking action if signs of drowsiness or inattention are detected.

9. Night Vision: Enhances the driver’s ability to see in low-light conditions by using infrared sensors to detect objects
