These AI-driven platforms tailor educational content, strategies, and feedback to each student's needs, abilities, and learning style. This thesis explores the theoretical foundations, technologies, applications, and implications of adaptive learning using AI, focusing on how it enhances student engagement, learning outcomes, and equity in education. The ethical considerations associated with AI in education—such as data privacy, algorithmic bias, and accessibility—are critically examined. The thesis concludes by discussing the future of AI in adaptive learning and offers recommendations for educators, institutions, and policymakers.
