Adapting in lockdown means a new road ahead

It is February 2020. Like most people, I am thinking 2020 is going to be a big year for me and my operations. The outlook was looking prosperous, I had recently moved into a new family home and secured a contract assisting in the running of an Aftersales Department for one of my clients. My diary for the coming year was filling, and I was loaded full of optimism for what was in store. 

I was now into my 3rd year since returning to the UK from the Middle East and on this return, I decided to go Self Employed. A decision that I did not take lightly but again hit head-on with optimism. Optimism and belief that I have something to give back to the Automotive Industry and that I can help and improve an industry that has treated me so well in my career so far.

Fast forward to March 23rd 2020, The Coronavirus Pandemic took hold and I temporarily seized my Automotive operations. Over the past few months, our world as we know it has turned upside down. It has been given a complete makeover and no longer looks like the world that we entered at the start of 2020. 

A self-employed consultant who relies on an income to support my family and everyday life, I needed to find something to help me through these difficult times.

As a keen fitness fanatic, I was introduced to the Herbalife Nutrition products by my old football Physio in the Summer of 2019. Since then, I have been using the products to help support my gym use, running and everyday nutrition. While I knew and explored the business opportunity, I never really realised its full potential. Given my current circumstances, I decided to use the Coronavirus lockdown wisely and submerge myself into the Network Marketing business model and Herbalife Nutrition.

Lockdown enabled me to focus on my fitness and what food I was consuming. Through using the Herbalife Nutrition products, I was able to gain the best results I have ever had. I used the downtime to push my development, reading every morning and putting some habits into place that I had previously been unable to nail down. I felt great, my energy was sky high and my running was improving with every step. 

Naturally, I started to share this enthusiasm for the products and opportunity with other people, helping each individual towards their health and wealth goals. Then, with the power of Network Marketing, this escalated over lockdown and we now have a team of people helping other people. It's a fantastic feeling when you can help someone along their journey, especially in times of hardship. 

One thing I have learned is Network Marketing is an unbelievable business model, in which anyone can utilise. It does come with its challenges. Sometimes it has the misconception of a "get rich quick scheme" or "pyramid scheme" even I initially thought this was the case. After researching, seeking opinions from other members and approaching with an open mind, I found that to succeed in Network Marketing, you need to get uncomfortable and put in the hard work. In fact, some of the worlds great businessmen and coaches speak very highly of the model and are involved in Network Marketing. Names such as Tony Robbins (Business Coach and Motivational Speaker), Robert Kiyosaki (Author of Rich Dad, Poor Dad), Jim Rohn (Motivational Speaker) and many more. 

Herbalife and it's community of like-minded people gave me hope and something to focus on during what has been a very testing and uncertain time. The training, guidance and support structures are first class. It has rewarded me financially for the work I have put it, but that is only a small reward compared to the gratitude I feel when I know I am helping someone else on this tough journey of life.

I know Herbalife Nutrition and Network Marketing are not for everyone and that is ok. 

I am looking forward to the journey ahead. I am looking forward to getting uncomfortable. I am looking forward to pushing my limits and forcing myself to grow. I am looking forward to developing and becoming a person who is consistently improving all areas of my life. I believe this will help me to not only become a better Dad to my gorgeous little girl, Partner my beautiful girlfriend and son to my amazing parents but will also help me become a better and more rounded businessman to help each and every person and business I interact with.

They say you find Herbalife Nutrition through desperation or inspiration. For me, I have experienced both. I have a passion for the products, and now is the time I need the life-changing world of Networking Marketing. I am still very much an Automotive Consultant and I will maintain this as a key part of my operations in the future. I will also continue to be apart of the biggest Network Marketing company in the world, helping people lead happier and healthier lives.
