Adapting Like a Chameleon: My 5 Ways of Adaptability Journey with Bangkit

While chameleons are known for their quick adaptation to their environment, humans also demonstrate remarkable abilities to adjust when embarking on new journeys. My experience with Bangkit has exemplified this principle, as I continuously learn and grow.

Throughout my journey with Bangkit, I have discovered that adaptation is essential for thriving amid new challenges and opportunities. Here are five ways I have adapted during my journey:

?? Ways of Interacting

Initially, I found it challenging to engage with others. However, at Bangkit, interacting with peers from diverse backgrounds across Indonesia has enriched my understanding. Through discussions during ILT sessions, weekly consultations, and interactions on Discord, I have learned to appreciate various perspectives, enhancing my knowledge.

??Ways of Achieving

Achievement is not solely about the result but also about the journey leading to it. At first, I viewed achievement as merely obtaining certificates. However, at Bangkit, I learned to focus on the learning process. Each project, assignment, and module completed has contributed to my long-term goals, with small successes building my confidence and paving the way for greater accomplishments.

Before joining Bangkit, my understanding of machine learning felt limited. Now, my learning experience has expanded. The curriculum, covering both machine learning and soft skills, has provided me with deep insights relevant to industry needs. I have gained valuable knowledge from high-quality resources that extend beyond just technical skills.

Due to my intensive schedule, I initially struggled with time management. Through Bangkit, I developed essential skills like time-blocking and creating daily to-do lists, which have allowed me to complete all tasks on time and significantly enhance my productivity.

?? Ways of Thinking

I began with a fixed mindset, but I have learned to cultivate an open and progressive mindset. The program has equipped me with knowledge and prepared me to face challenges. I learned to view problems as opportunities and engage in critical thinking to find effective solutions.

Through this transformative journey, I have adapted like a chameleon; more importantly, I have grown and evolved with every step alongside Bangkit Academy! ?????
