Adapt. Scale. Succeed.

Adapt. Scale. Succeed.

When March 2020 hit about 100 years ago, hardly anyone would have predicted how the world could or would be impacted by a pandemic - well; "we" knew it could happen, as it did in the past, and "we" did not heed to the warning, but that is a different story.

About two months in the pandemic, I was offered the incredible opportunity to join Side Door. To this day, I can't believe how fortunate I'm to have joined such an incredible team during a moment of sheer global adversity.

Side Door started a few years ago, primarily focusing on turning any space into a show's possible venue. The COVID-19 lockdown put a hard stop to the endeavour. Side Door, perhaps better than any other company, understood how a near-total loss of performing space would greatly impact the music community.

By May 2020, Side Door had taken its system and its culture fundamentals to the online world. Any place can host a show, but now that place could even be a sofa, a shed, or a car. Anyone can create a Side Door show; everyone is an Artist on Side Door, and Art is worth something.

Side Door offers more than just a show to the audience and more than just a paycheck for the artist; when you do a Side Door show, you create a unique and distinct experience. But now, through Zoom, Side Door brings the audience, be it in Sydney, Australia, right in the artist's living room, be it in Spain.

Instead of recreating in-person concerts, Side Door complemented the experience by democratizing access for all. Everyone is on the front row, backstage, in the VIP room. Artists now have the ability to engage with their hardened fans directly, intimately, interactively, like never before; every Interactive Side Door show can be a "you had to be there" moment.

But that is only the beginning of the journey. We are growing the platform; we are scaling our user base; we are reaching deeper into the principles of culture, identity, and connectivity.

Join us. Make your own adventure.
